1. EVERYTHING he wrote
is disturbing!

:scared:

Hey! I thought he "retired".

2. Hell no. This is his best one yet. But man, it's uncomfortable to read.
Sorta autobiographical.

9. Officially, he did...
I didn't think that he'd stay out of it, though. When it's what you do, it's what you do. I think (and this is just me and my suppositions) that what happened is that he's not writing under contract any more. He doesn't have to put out x books within a certain time. He writes what he writes when he feels like writing it, not because he's got a deadline.

But that's just a guess.

6. Read it. One of his better works.
But if you want disturbing, read Gerald's Game or Rose Madder if you haven't already. Those are 2 that are really hard for a woman to read.

7. I can't wait to read it. I have read all of his books
except for the Dark Tower series. I just couldn't get into them.

8. I read it last year...
thought it was one of his better novels, along with Bag of Bones, but I still like his short stories the best. I wasn't too crazy about Hearts in Atlantis and I thought Gerald's Game was horrible...loved the Dark Tower series, especially the ending.

11. I listened to it while I was driving to Florida. The imagery was disturbing.

King is still an excellent horror writer.
