8. Ah!
Mistress Overdone is a character from the Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and is described below:

"Mistress Overdone, a Bawd.

Mistress Overdone is an aging woman who wears too much make-up and is really overweight. A shrewd businesswoman, frank and vulgar. Colorful, flamboyant. Outfit should mimic the styles of aristocracy, but be composed of colorful and gaudy material; tight and revealing of a misshapen figure."

She is a madam, an employer of prostitutes. I am not. We do share one or two other characteristics, however, and I like the name. I am rather Overdone, I believe.

13. Pants is plural...
You put your foot into the pant leg. And each part of a pair of scissors is a scissor. It's kind of like conjoined twins.

12. I'm not sure, but the longest and hardest I ever
laughed was when a dear friend of mine, who is an interior decorator, was walking up to my house (I was having him for lunch) and happily holding forth with his cigarette and calling out to me when a squirrel jumped out of a tree and onto his head.

To my credit, I did not laugh right away. I first made sure he was okay, but. then. I. almost. wet. my. pants.

I can still hear his scream.

I am a bad person....

17. LoL
Too funny!

I have a squirrel story as well.

We were working one Saturday replacing some bad rafters on someone's roof and I saw a squirrel run down the ridge and take a leap off. I still swear it was a flying squirrel. I tried to explain to the others what I saw and they blamed it on my hangover. The squirrel did soar though, about 100 feet through the air.

I was called Rocky Raccoon after that day for reasons unbeknown.

I have seen squirrels fly from one tree to another. Stone cold sober.

The squirrels, not me.

16. Yes, all fiction
My first is a multi-generational saga based on the life of a Victorian church, and its priest. Rather racy. I stopped at 500 pps when I got to WWI. I am halfway through the sequel, which will go to the present. I actually got an agent on that and a paperback deal but we both decided I should finish the sequel and try to market it hardback.

The next is a juvenile fiction fantasy about a race of flying humans. It is a vehicle for teaching anthropology, but is a good story. I'm a teacher and read it to my kids. They love it. That was rejected by my agent as being to close to Peter Pan, which I can never quite understand. I'll have to shop that around myself.

The next is an auto-biographical novel that is so personal I haven't let anyone read it yet! It is a coming of age of a Boomer type of piece. About 250 pps.

The last one is a juvie novel about a boy who accidently shoots his best friend and kills him.
