to influence mental health policy: that is, he believes psychiatric drugs should be completely outlawed. Just as I don't begrudge him the religion of his choosing, he should not begrudge suffering people the medicines that help them. One's health care choices are a very private thing, in my opinion, and in fact medical privacy (in my opinion) is a basic right. I'll respect Tom Cruise a lot more when he stops trying to his celebrity status to influence the government to intervene in _all of our_ private health care choices.
