I just went to the bank and on the way, passed TeenMidlo driving.

What a weird feeling. It is the first time I've seen her 'out in traffic' since she got her car in January. I think she's on the way to matcom's.

5. So do you feel old yet?
I did the first time I passed my kid on the road. Then I had the urge to follow her so no one could tail gate & possibly rear end her. Luckily I came to my senses before actually doing it though.

You love to see them spread their wings, but you still want them to cling, just the teensiest bit. :(

8. Coupled with finding out my brother who is just one year younger
than me is having a new baby, I feel so incredibly old. The time with these kids has passed so fast. BabyMidlo will be in Middle School in September. It seems like she was just born. :(

9. I bet we aren't alone in that.
Those years fly by. I hate to say this but my baby will be 30 on her next birthday. I'm too damn young to have a 30 year old kid!

12. I know!!! WHEN did that happen?
When did my baby get her license? When did she get to be almost 17? God, I feel as though I didn't take enough notice of the best part of my life.
