Poll question: Have you ever had condom fail?
I was looking at some research about the falacies of latex condoms and was just curious.
I will probably try to put this in GD tomorrow, but I was curious as to the lounge response tonight.

Have you ever had a condom fail on you?

For the record, I have had one fail on me.

Keep it clean folks.

Mods: there is no humor here, just an honest question.

2. ah yes, been there.
the month that you speak of... were you waiting for her monthly visitor or a test result?
I have dropped to my knees in thanks at the arrival of the monthly visitor.

3. No thank god.
That's not ever been a problem for me. But I didn't always use one either.

6. Once...
It didn't get us too worried, since it was at a time of the month when I was only using one as a precaution. Besides, we were married, and it wouldn't have been catastrophic to have a child at that point, although we didn't think we were ready. It wasn't exactly as traumatic as if it had happened for a 16-year-old guy and his 15-year-old girlfriend.

7. Yes, once. The damn thing developed a tear; everyone
escaped unharmed, fortunately, especially considering where I was when it happened...

8. One time that thing fell off and rode up so far I almost had to go to the hospital to get it out.
My boyfriend at the time was on the phone with the emergency room, they were giving him directions and he was digging while I was in a very strange almost standing on my head type position.

I could have eventually birthed a whole carton of condoms if he couldn't get it out. Or maybe I would have birthed a baby with a condom on its head after 9 months.

And I can't believe I am posting this....

11. Condoms can cause something else to fail on me
especially when alcohol is involved. But it still does it's job in preventing pregnancy and STDs.

I never had one break though.

12. Don't ever buy Trojans.
Lousy warriors, lousy condom. Thankfully nothing terrible happened.

Our high school team was the Trojans and they were equally lousy.

Excellent decision to respect yourself and the health and safety of your partners(s). I wish more men had your intelligence (and your character).

21. No. But my diaphragm failed in 1999 and I got pregnant accidentally.
 It was made of latex too and ended up with a tear in it. Yeah, probably TMI, but there you go.

23. You forgot two options:
1. "No opportunity to use one"

2. "Not applicable"

One is made in half-jest... :D
