The day after Eagles big Win - Limbaugh: Comments 'distorted'
http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/sports/football/7697049.htm

"The bottom line of this is what I said has been totally distorted, I think, on purpose," Limbaugh said, a few minutes after a caller asked him what he thought of media personalities like Fox's Cris Collinsworth continuing to mock Limbaugh's earlier remarks.

"I think what's happened here, with the way all of this is being reported, sort of vindicates me or confirms what I'm saying," he said. "I don't think I even need any vindication. Collinsworth and all these people continue to suggest that I questioned McNabb's performance because of his race, and I didn't do that. I did not question McNabb's performance because of his race at all. What I did was question their performance as journalists by skewing their analysis of McNabb's performance - and they continue to do it."

and....

McNabb emerged from the incident with an improved image because of the dignity he showed in the days after Limbaugh's comments. Limbaugh was forced to resign his ESPN job before being fired, and later entered a drug-rehab program because of an addiction to prescription pain-killers.

For at least the rest of this season, though, McNabb and Limbaugh will be linked - from commentary to slapstick routines, including one on the Fox pregame show Sunday.

"It's called ratings," Limbaugh said. "I have to tell you, there's one part of that segment, I started laughing - when McNabb comes into my radio studio and assaults me, beats me up and knocks me out of the chair.

yeah Rush, we were laughing too - and dreaming that it was really you that was being beaten up!!!

1. Flushie just can't help himself.
He never stops spinning his web of lies, regardless of the topic.

3. What A Tool!
Seems he is incapable of admitting he was wrong.

4. Other things he's said that we must have misunderstood....
Rush's 'Undeniable Truths'

Character matters; leadership decends from character.

There's a simple way to solve the crime problem: obey the law; punish those who do not.

If you commit a crime, you are guilty.

Compassion is no substitute for justice.

Too many Americans can't laugh at themselves anymore.

Follow the money. When somebody says, "It's not the money," it's always the money.
-------------------------------------------------
I'm also including these 'Commandments of the Religious Left' he wrote, that he seems to embrace..

Thou shalt have no other God except thyself; after all, it's thy self-esteem that counts. If thou doth not love thyself, who will?

Thou shalt not bear false witness. Unless thou art discussing the history of the 1980's, art campaigning, or can afford good legal counsel in the event that thou art discovered.

Always hide the real truth about thyself.

Never admit who or what thou really art when campaigning for office.

Always blame someone else for what thou dost - even so far as to blame the entire society. (Or vast left wing conspiracy)

Thou shalt oppose all punishment
