3. A joke, submitted for your approval
A Bostonian goes to a bar and orders "Three shots of your finest Irish whiskey, each in its own glass."

The bartender watches as the man downs the contents of each glass in sucession. Unable to contain his curiosity, the barkeep cuts in. "Say, buddy, I got bigger glasses than those--why not just drink all three shots together at one?"

The patron turns, and with an audible Gaelic brogue, says: "No, I must do it this way. You see, one glass is for my older brother Seamus, who still lives there in far-off Dublin. The second glass is for younger brother Paddy, who makes his home across the water in London. Finally, the third glass is for me here in America. This way, we brothers can still drink together the way we did in the old days--for each knows that, no matter what distance lies between us, the other two are doing the same thing."

What a lovely tradition, thinks the bartender to himself.

However, a month later, the same man returns, and this time orders "TWO shots of your finest whiskey, each in its own glass."

The bartender does so, and then, asks, "Something happen to Seamus?"

"Not at all," says the Irishman, surprised.

"Well, then, is your brother Paddy alright?"

"Of course," says the patron, "he's in the best health of his life."

"Then I'm confused," says the barkeep. "Why two glasses this time instead of three?"

"Ah, that's easy enough to explain," says the man. "Last week, I decided to quit drinking...."

27. No, but I thought of this logo, which has been around for 35 years
raising funds for the Muir Beach, California volunteer fire department. I bought a MWVFD tee-shirt for my nephew when he was 3, now he's 26!
