There's too much food on that plate for me, even if it weren't all fried pig meat.

13. No kidding.
I'm so freaking hungry right now. The cafeteria...which will NOT be serving this tasty looking breakfast...will open at 8AM.

I think it will be a Denver omelet and hash browns for me, probably.

15. ooh, that sounds good
the breakfast place down the street opens in a few minutes. Maybe I'll wander down for an omelette.

They have a fantastic turkey, avocado and swiss omelette. Or, if I'm gonna be a little less healthy, bacon spinach and sour cream.... decisions...

17. Thanks for the inspiration
Terrya and Chavez -

just got back from a totally delicious turkey, avocado and swiss omelette. I had fruit instead of potatoes so I'd feel like it was healthy :D

22. I'm not sure if they can grow tomatoes in Ireland or not because of
all the cloudy days. It seems to be a bit of an exotic touch that people enjoy.
Anyone ever have an authentic tomato sandwich- tomato, butter and good bread?

21. The sad thing - there's probably more meat on that one plate
than my grandfathers saw in a year when they were growing up! (one in Mayo, the other an orphan in Youngstown)
Celtic Tiger, indeed!

27. I'd kill for that breakfast sausage
and the bacon and the tomato. I love the spicing and texture of both Irish and English sausages. I found a company that sells both on here in the US and bought some a couple of weeks ago. The day they arrived, we had a lovely fry-up for dinner. I think I need dto order some more.

30. I had that nearly every morning for two weeks.
Except for one morning at a charming little restaurant near Dingle called The South Pole Inn. The lady heard me sighing about the Irish fare and sauteed me some mushrooms and scrambled them in eggs.
