1. Actually, he's supposed to be a big Steeler fan.
Much to my dismay...

5. Goes back to his days working in the Burgh
which he acknowledges.

But I would suppose that the KC Chiefs, having hired him for their broadcasts, is his first (understandably) NFL love, having been the nearest team to hometown.

Yeah, a great team will draw in all kinds of wannabes. (I grew up during the 70s near the 'Burgh; it was great, especially in the year when the Pirates won the Series and the Steelers won the Superbowl).

19. Chiefs
I was at a Cheifs game maybe 10 years ago and he was also there. They showed his ugly mug on the jumbotron & the crowd went into a state of total apathy (except for me: I booed.)

3. Haha, I doubt it.
He would love to see D-Mac have a bad game so he can feel vindicated. I've heard him sarcastically refer to McNabb on his show as "The greatest QB in the universe" after his ludicrous comments.

6. Superbowl MVP is not out of the question!!

(Oh, excuse me. I got a drop of coffee on my #5 jersey.......OK- all better)

Now, where was I? Oh yeah! MVP!! Sure, it's a *bit* of a reach, but like I said: Not out of the question.

And if it happened I wonder if Rush would have any calls on it?

8. I hate to correct another DUer who was in the act of....
correcting another DUer, but the Eagles (of which I am a huge fan), don't stand a chance....the Packers have to much MO going into the game. And playing big playoff games in Philly has never been an Eagle strongpoint.

I REALLY hope I'm wrong.

11. Well

The home team in NFC playoff games since 1990 is at 22-2 and the team comming off the bye is 13-0 since then also.

So take THAT, you cheese-head. (Mmmmmmm. Cheese)

15. Perhaps..........
but having been raised in Philadelphia watching the Eagles since I was this high, I just don't have a good feeling about it.

Packer fans will be cooking up some brat and polish sausage quesadillas, so of course there'll be some grated cheese going around.

Mmmm. Good.

12. I don't follow football at all, but I heard something interesting
on Fatboy's radio show last week. A dittoheadless said something to the extent of "You should say something about (some player doing poorly on some team)because look at McNabb. You were the best thing that ever happened to him!" And FatJunkie then concurred that yes, he was responsible for McNabb's recent success, etc, etc.

What color is the fucking sky in your world, fat man?
