I'd pop popcorn and kick back, because it's waaaaaay more fun to let other people do it for me and just laugh at the person at the bottom of the dogpile. To be fair though, I'm much more likely to jump to a friend's defense than to my own, so I'd find reason to return the favor, and soon, since I seem to be short of friends who back down from fights.
