so! let's have a cheerful thread. no depressing stuff allowed (i'm not going to talk about my motivation for posting this thread-- but i'm pretty sure i can rely on DU to hit cheerful, funny, and even downright hysterical notes).

cheerful (and encouraging): january is damn cold here! no balmy weather, so maybe global warming is taking a break.

funny: a priest, a rabbi, and a shaman walk in to a bar. the bartender says, "what is this, some kind of a joke?"

downright hysterical: i'm never good at this category, tho most reality/funny things can reduce me to rotflmao (also wiping away tears, and pee'ing my pants). be creative!

One thing that both my daughter and I have learned from working for vets is that the sickest humor heals the quickest! (ok, so that's not great grammar, but you know what I mean)

I really am headed off to bed - haven't been getting much sleep lately - but it was just great to see that someone else was looking for a pick-me-up, just like I was.
