I remember them.

Prince stepped on my foot one time in a night club in 1981. I had on sandals and homeboy had on some big ass boots. He was cruising me and apologized for stepping on my foot. I should have asked him for a kiss.

5. funny story
I used to be a "security person" at rock concerts at the old Met Center in Bloomington MN. Prince happened to be at one of the concerts that I was working, standing up on the soundboard platform. I was standing on the main floor and I was taller than him standing on the platform. He did smile at me very cutely!

What a cool gig!

I bet you got to see him often, living in MN.

He seems like a nice guy- maybe a bit eccentric but so what?

Some of the most interesting, talented people on this planet
are eccentric.

But really very cool, albeit moody. He does have a good heart.

He once gave really decent tickets to one of his Minneapolis arena shows to all the residents of a woman's drug treatment facility.

I used to be almost 6'1", now I'm just under 6' by about a 1/4 of an inch I think

maybe it's just the measurers?

I feel pulled down.

In the end gravity does win.

17. I wouldn't mind being a little shorter than 5'7".
Although I remember one time when I was out partying and was talking to a fellow about my marriage crapping out. He said, "You're tall. You'll be all right." I hope he is more accurate than my father who told me when I graduated with my useless Psy/Soc degree: "You're pretty. Somebody will hire you." :eyes: Gee, thanks Dad. (Note: I'm unemployed)

Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 11:18 PM by Southpawkicker
"you're tall you'll be all right" is a strange thing to say.

You've prolly shrunk an inch or so from gravity anyhow.

So now you're 5'6" instead.

As for the psych/soc degree, all I can say is yeah, that isn't the greatest thing to have. As for the "you're pretty, somebody will hire you", you are pretty, whether that means someone will hire you I can't say. I'd imagine someone will hire you when you are ready to be hired because you are a bright person who can do anything she sets her mind to.

31. Dayum !! Just right!!!
I'm five foot three and finding a guy I didn't feel intimidated by was tough.
My honey is five foot eight, which suits me JUST FINE.

My mom used to tower over me, but I'm not sure what her exact height was.
She was probably five-eight in her chunky heels. And five-six without em. I still thought she was way taller than me, when she was alive.
And her mom (my grandma) was bossy and about five-nine so she was quite intimidating.

I thought kids were supposed to be taller than their parents. Didn't work in my case!!

I found about 5 citations that list him between 5'9 and 5'11.

I've found multiple pictures of him standing next to other people that would confirm that.

I can't find a SINGLE reference to him being any shorter than 5'9".

His daughter is 5'10". He appears to be about her height in photos.

Come on, you claim it's an elaborate lie and he always wears 7" platforms? and he buys such shoes at the Mall of America?
