4. WOW! How did they get that?
I mean, what incredible luck!!! I'm orginally from Massachusetts and I was amazed to hear that the Bay State has its own resident population of Bobcats. I have wandered among a great deal of woods
and seen deer, moose, black bear, fishers, weasels, coons, woodchucks, beavers, squirrels, coyote,
, all manner of owls, hawks, a few eagles, and a red fox that adopted me as its own personal waiter.
BUT NOT ONCE HAVE I SEEN A BOBCAT. I may have come across some tracks of one but never a bobcat in the flesh. They are supremely elusive. Seeing one of theses is truly a rare sight.

11. Friend looked out to see her cat shoot across and up under car, followed by bobcat
She chased the bobcat away and opened hood of car to find cat on top of airfilter. Said the cats would get down really low and look right left right left right left before slinking outside when they finally went out again a week later.

8. Cool!
It's really amazing that he was so close to people's houses!

I've only seen one outside of a zoo. We were driving along Skyline Drive at about 10pm one March night. The bobcat crossed the road right in front of the car. There was hardly anyone in the park.

9. My Dad Lives In Estes Park
wildlife is pretty tame there. I've seen of course a ton of Elk there, but coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, a moose, deer, and other animals around there. (well the moose was actually in Rocky Mtn Park)

10. That is a great picture, cool cat
I have only ever seen 1 in the wild. Driving along and it went across the road ahead a ways. My first thought was it was the biggest raccoon I'd ever seen, then "manx?" then omg a bobcat! Nice picture.

13. Hey Southpaw!
My son and his friend are coming to visit from Houston this weekend, and we are going up to Estes to do the ghost tour at the Stanley Hotel, go to Rocky Mtn. National Park, etc.

I saw a mountain lion near my house a couple of months ago, but didn't have my camera with me. Darn it! First rule of living in the Rockies -- take your camera EVERYWHERE!
