You know you're a political junkie when....
Edited on Sat Jan-03-04 09:16 PM by goobergunch
You know the Speaker of the House's name.

You can pronounce arcane place names from all over the country.

Your favorite channel is C-SPAN.

You can recognize your Representative more readily then the latest American Idol winner.

You always get up in time for the Sunday political shows on Sunday morning.

You have 6338 posts at message boards like this one. ;)

You try to order the previous question at movie theaters.

3. Yeah, I can't wait for the Senate to come back
Noon on 1/20...only a couple weeks away!

They'll be on appropriations, so hopefully Byrd will get the floor quickly and blast Bush*.

She hasn't introduced it yet, and it'll be interesting to see the actual language.

10. You can recall enough C-SPAN minutia to make posts like these (or)

You can figure out which senator is speaking from the sound of their voice. (For C-SPAN 2 live stream listeners)

You wish that the congress would return to DC already, as you're tired of seeing "all of these re-runs." on TV.

You wonder if the thought of a C-SPAN drinking game amuses anyone other than yourself.

You unconsciously start reciting the senators names in a roll call vote in alphabetical order.

You become aware of the fact that you were just doing the above, and realize that you're still only up to "Mr. Graham of Florida."

You make no move to change the channel, and start to watch as the various senators walk into the room... And then comment that their choice of outfits is not as flattering as the one from last week/month
