1. What? I Thought Today Was Wednesday!
no wonder there wasn't anyone but me at the office.

I thought the Avian flu had hit or something and I didn't know, or maybe the rapture?

8. Wanna hear something stupid? I called my son for his birthday on December 9th.
Edited on Sun Dec-17-06 12:59 AM by Radio_Lady
I called him on December 9th, but I was thinking it was December 10th (his birthday). I was looking at the wrong calendar.

Boy, is that dumb, or what? I left him this long fluffy message on his cell phone. He called me back from work and we got a good laugh out of it!

Warmly,

Radio_Lady

"I didn't know what time it was
Then I met you
Oh, what a lovely time it was
How sublime it was too.

I didn't know what day it was..."

(I can't remember the rest of the lyrics...)

7. Well ...

I thought yesterday was Monday and today was Thursday, and I'm convinced tomorrow will be Friday.

I don't know if that's losing days so much as having a psychotic episode.

9. OK, here's my confession. I take four pills at bedtime and three pills upon arising.
I put them all in one of those plastic Su-M-T-W-Th-F-Sat. weekly pill pods.
All seven of the little flaps flip up and I fill them up.

Here's the problem:

Let's say it's Saturday night. (Jeeze, it IS Saturday night) There are all seven pills in the Saturday pod. I take the four pills for Saturday night out, leaving the three pills for Sunday morning.

But on Sunday morning, I have to remember that the three remaining pills in Saturday's pod are REALLY for SUNDAY morning.

Now, I've tried it the other way... taking the four Saturday morning pills out and leaving the three Saturday evening pills. Somehow, this just doesn't work for me, because I forget to take the pills in the morning.

Hey, honey? You think you're confused? I think I'm nuts. Were those yesterday's pills or today's?

Lovingly, you little pill...

Radio_Lady

10. Hey...
My Pop's was having same trouble as you...his meds are really mission critical, so we got him a white pill pod (morning) to go with his existing blue one (nighttime).

My inflation adjusted 2 cents.

11. Wow! What an idea! Now, why didn't I think of that?
Edited on Sun Dec-17-06 01:36 AM by Radio_Lady
I have four pill pods, three blue and one white. I'll have to sleep through at least one week to make it work! :sarcasm:

Seriously, I've been packing them all for each week in the month (and then there are those LONG months with the 31st -- Medical insurance pays only for 30 days worth of pills... I have to have some "leap pills" --)

My husband has it easy. He takes three pills every night. Just nights. Packs the prescription pills into a couple of sections of the pill pod and fills the other sections with antacids and Viagra (NO, I'M JUST KIDDING...it's Tylenol.)

Then I give him vitamins with meals in the morning. Simple.

Seriously, that's a great idea.

Thanks for posting!

14. Hi Darkstar -- Sorry I can't help you with "Pan's Labryrinth" -- we didn't get to preview it.
Websites I use for synching with other reviewers:

www.metacritic.com

www.rottentomatoes.com

www.us.imdb.com

I'll try to scope it out tomorrow. I've lost a day or two due to the storm here in Oregon last Thursday. I couldn't get to the radio station on Friday and am playing catch-up.

"Eragon" review should have been posted on Friday, but I'll have it on by tomorrow. Had to get out of the house today -- cooped up since Wednesday afternoon!

15. I lost a whole first marriage. One year of lost memories. I can't recall
what day in March 1960 we married, or where in Miami Shores, Florida we lived for a couple of months. I do recall he was 12 years older than I am. I had a few pictures of him -- but he was never home because he was a newly graduated doctor. All photos were lost after a water pipe broke in our basement -- taking much of my family's photos with it.

I do remember his mother's name (Charlotte) and never met his father, who had died. I don't recall if he had any siblings. I thought I remembered his favorite song, "Blue Moon" -- but when I called him during our visit to NYC in June 2006, he said, "It was just one of the songs of the day." He is a 79 year old doctor still in private practice. He was quite cordial about the call.

Our child was stillborn on November 30, 1960 in White Plains, NY. We were divorced after I moved back to Florida and regained my resident's status. I went back to college and graduated in February 1962.
