Insights gleaned from SophieMN over my holiday break:

-If I don't wear shoes, I will get a tapeworm. It will eat all my food.

-Hamburger is made from horses

-I have the next birthday in the family, and I'm about to turn sixty-three.

-Sophie cannot eat candy because it will giver her "too much blood sugar" (thanks,GrandmaMN).

-I only look pretty in dresses.

-Babies start out as seeds that grow in one's belly. You can buy these seeds at the grocery store.


On a note more indicative of my weekend, on Friday JackMN hit Sophie in the face with a rolling pin, and knocked her front tooth loose. It made a lovely story for every. single. person. she encountered in the next two days.
