If an emergency of any type happened RIGHT NOW
and you only had two minutes.
Are you prepared to take the important things with you? What would those things be?

1. I'm on crutches, I think I would try to get the conure
and my laptop

That's it,

If I were not on crutches, I think I could get some more things

4. The most important thing to me is...
...my partner Sapphocrat, and unfortunately we are currently living 8,000 miles apart, so it is impossible for me to take her with me. But if something was to happen, she is all I would care about. Material things can be replaced, but the lives of our loved ones can't be.

Another true, hopeless romantic. Bless your heart.

5. My daughter is sleeping upstairs right now...
I would get her, and the dog and cat. Nothing else is that important.

6. Living in earthquake country...
means never having to say, "Where are the water purification tablets?"

We've got two duffel bags with clothes, MREs, a small tent, etc., always in the car. I'd grab the baby and diaper bag, and the laptops, and hope there's gas in the tank. And that the laptops are charged :-)It would kill me to leave my art and tools behind, but those are material things, and can be replaced.

9. Books...
...lotsa books. I would shove 'em all in a bag. Or two. Three.

Also...

-CDs
-memory and drawing books
-DVDs
Who am I kidding? I love too much of my stuff given to me by relatives deceased to give almost anything up...I know that sounds selfish, but it would be hard to part with a few things I've had since I was a child.
