I *almost* had to get new glasses yesterday. I lost mine in the park the night before during an invigorating round of alcohol-fueled PDA. My friend Ed found them literally ten minutes before I was going to go for my eye exam. Saved me few hundred bucks, he did.

all told, but the exam is only $65, and I could just go and get new lenses in the old frames which would be under a hundred I do believe. Plus it's non-taxable and I can claim it.
It was a lot more because I needed new frames and shit too. around $300 for the exam, 2 frames and lenses, and some sunglasses.
