the monitor is really, really BIG and WIDE. Razor sharp and lear, no matter how you have it positioned in front of you. But $2199...that's a whole lot of coin :wow:

Meanwhile I had another look at the iBook g4--this time I tried out the speakers sing iTunes. For speakers that are samll in size, they do produce a really nice sound--not overpowering, but plenty good for me. Plus, I could really use a cd-rw drive! I can't imagine trying to carry on a 20 iMac on a 747 bound for Japan :evilgrin:

Other Mac stuff--there are rumors going around that a $100 iPod is coing out soon :wow: I would buy one the same day, but I have to see it in person first--as in, is this a real product (yet)?

Last year I brought Jaguar right after MWSF, so unless there is a $100 iPod, I might actually hold off and get Panther preinstalled on the iBook G4. Meanwhile, I'll love to have a japanese musc section on Itunes Music Store, or the next versin allowing to buy japanese music, even if I have to pay a little extra...
