Does it ever bother you? The copycat threads sometimes displayed on DU?

Is it a little disconcerting when you post a copycat thread which is so OBVIOUS, and somebody misses that completely and weighs in with some DEADLY SERIOUS reply?
I never know what to do when that happens.

I was looking up Southern Fried Chicken on Goggle and came across Vegan Southern Fried Chicken. I mean what's the point.

10. A lot of the meat analogue dishes are really tasty.

I mean, my dad was a total meat & potatoes guy but he also really enjoyed the local vegan Chinese restaurant. Basically, he said that their vegan chicken & such was really good as long as you accepted it for what it was. It's not the same, but it's still tasty.
