I'm in Boston for 2 weeks...
Well, staying in Dedham---*sigh* the leaf-changing season has relegated my group to a hotel way down here---but am mobile for getting into Boston-proper.

Doing outreach activities in the Boston public schools by day, but what shall I do in the evenings???

Any recommendations are appreciated! (Cross-posting in the MA forum as well.)

:) Drum

1. CONTEXT edit:

I've travelled a lot, but past visits to Boston as a performer were limited to the Wang Center theater and immediate vicinity. I'm 43, male unmarried&unattached, former dancer and now leading a small troupe of modern dancers. So, very arts-friendly. Not really into meat-market bars as a practice, but don't mind varied&exciting social situations either, and I mix well with most age-groups. Live performance is a love, and musical tastes very eclectic. I love boats, neat architecture, interesting people, and wine and beer, and I smoke....
(God, isn't this "clarification" turning into a personal ad? Yikes!!)
I play well with others, pay my fair share and usually tip generously. I am also looking to replace my Claddagh ring (see below) after the first one, bought in Boston years ago, unfortunately broke.

For more details, don't hesitate to PM me....

2. That SO sounds like a personal ad.
Hopefully, Bi_Baby and the sniffas will see this. They live near Boston and would probably know cool places.

MADem immediately replied in the MA forum, asking for more info on my age, interests etc to assist in my query...I blurted, and there you are :eyes: Add poorly-written to today's list of woes!

Didn't make the 'edit' deadline to add to the more-visible Lounge thread, so I guess I'm caught with the curtains open. C'est la vie.

Won't be the first or last time, surely...
