Anybody besides me miss Perry Como at Christmas time?
Somehow it seems like something is missing without a Perry Como Christmas Special on TV. It was a tradition that went on for years. I would like to hear him sing Silent Night, Ave Maria and a few other standards.

Merry Christmas to all anyway.

2. I miss him during this season
My dad was a huge fan of his and he could sing just like Mr. Como.

I used to lay in front of the fire and listen to my dad sing along with Perry.

A very cool memory!

6. Perry is very cool!
Bing once told a joke on the radio about Perry-- "He's so laid-back they have to hold him up while he sings." Coming from Mr. Laid-Back himself, Bing Crosby, this is the supreme compliment. Perry Como was the best "school-of-Bing" baritone to emerge after Der Bingle himself.

7. Yes. Miss that whole era.
The '60s, Mom, Uncle Bob and Aunt Kay and so many other family members, now all gone. Perry was part of it.
