Pomegranates. Why?
Huge seeds, very little juicy goodness, a general pain in the ass to eat. People like these things? For food?

1. Because
Pomegranates are drought tolerant, and can be grown
in dry areas with either a Mediterranean winter rainfall
climate or in summer rainfall climates. In wetter areas,
they are prone to root decay from fungal diseases.
They are tolerant of moderate frost, down to about -10°C.

3. Because they taste awesome and foods that turn into a sticky, juicy
mess are fun. Oh yeah and pomegranate juice is an amazing mixer.

4. messy too
however put on some old clothes you were about to convert into rags, share some of the seeds with your parrot, and just get down

they can be fun if you let them be fun

5. I used to love them as a kid. Of course, we called them Chinese Apples
- Haven't had one in a while, but I do love the little cranberry/pomegranate packets that I pour into my water bottle. yummy!

6. Pomegranates are a pain in the ass to eat...
But worth every minute of it. Sit outside in some old clothes and get yourself all stained and sticky...it's glorious.

And if it's not juicy, then you got a bad pomegranate. You haven't lived until you've worn a good pomegranate.

Fuckin' tasty.

on edit: they are really healthy and full of antioxidants. So if you don't eat one, you will die. Soon. You need the anti-oxidants.
