I go on this date, and the woman does even thank me for dinner.
I paid, she didn't even make a motion to offer to pay. Says she wants to go on a bike ride next weekend with me and was really nice the whole dinner, except she didn't even thank me for dinner and that bugs me even though, that aside, she seemed nice.

I'm perplexed. Should I just not see this woman again? Probably not. The not even a simple thank you really bugs me. It was our first date. It's bizzare because other than that she seemed like a decent person.

1. Give her another chance, if not saying thank you is the only
thing that bothers you. Sounds like, other than that, you had a good time. If it still bothers you after the second date, or she still seems like an ingrate, then you can reconsider continuing to see her.

2. Sometimes I forget to say thanks
Just plain forget. I usually feel like a heel afterwards.

I wouldn't dwell on this one instance but if it becomes a pattern....

4. I think it's important to give people another chance
And since you appear to have otherwise enjoyed her company, I say give her another try. And if she goes again with any acknowledgment of thanks, THEN drop her. Like a hot potato.

It might also be good to make sure she isn't Amish or other culture in which saying "thank you" is not part of the culture. She might have been honoring you by not saying thank you.

Probably she's just a self-absorbed "I deserve everything handed to me" shrew, though.

5. ...egh. I guess it's possible that she simply forgot. Maybe she was
nervous or something. But that's not a good omen, in my opinion. Especially on a first date. That would bug the ever loving whatever out of me.

6. Who asked whom out on the date?
If you asked her, why would she make a motion to pay? She definitely should have thanked you, though! She may have just forgotten.

7. I ALWAYS say thank you!!!1!!1!1!!

...Except when I forget.

Since she seemed nice otherwise, I'd say be nice as well and give her the benefit of the doubt.

Otherwise, when it got to the end of the date and she hadn't said "thank you" yet, you might have tried asking whether her dinner was okay.
