Good Lord, now I know why I moved away from my hometown.
I spent the day there with my mom today because I had to have work done on my car, and there's really only one dude I trust to do that. It was the same old people, my mom was the same old negative nancy, and I could not wait to get the fuck out of there. I'm so thankful to GOD that I'm back home and back here with you guys. Hold me. :scared:

3. She made my sit and watch the presidential press conference...
She was agreeing with everything the idiot was repeating. And seemed gleeful that I was getting more and more pissed by the minute. God I hate going home.

9. Aw, my dear Duckie!
How sweet of you to say that.......

And actually I do....but they're all grown up now.......

One daughter is almost 40 years old......

Her sister is 34.......

How about that?

They seem to feel they had a pretty decent upbringing......

11. Skip had a happy upbringing too, except he was sheltered.
I don't want to think about mine.

4. Yikes
my hometown is a pretty big city now (Charlotte), but I still get the heebie jeebies when I have to spend any time there. In fact now I realize, those WERE the good old days for that city...:(

6. I just feel the judgement when I go anywhere.
And fifteen people ask me when I'm going to have babies or they preach at me, and I get all uncomfortable. I hate it.

10. I was lame and uncool in high school.
And everyone still acts like I'm still the same idiotic girl that everyone knew from back in the day. Some people freaked when they heard I'd become catholic. And now it's the whole baby thing. Number one, I can't have any, number two, I don't want any, and number three, we're adopting older kids because they are the kids no one seems to want. I think it's more important for us to take care of the kids we've already got here than to bring more into it. That's not a jibe at people who have had kids. When I say us, I mean me and my husband.

13. oh sweetie
these people have empty, lost lives...if anyone is lame and uncool now...it is these morons. Surely you know that. Sounds like you two are fantastic people and if you adopt, you DO have children...so screw that. Judgmental people are total losers in my mind....(though I guess I am judging them) but what the hell. . They are ignorant jerks...look at them with the pity they so richly deserve. And here is another hug just because
