3. That was yesterday's pot luck.. It's all gone

Now I have today's potluck to cook for.. Not chili.. I think I will make chicken breasts and braised spicy potatoes.... There are 140 people at tonight's potluck and some are overlaps from last night's 120 people..

I can't bring the same thing two nights in a row.. :)

4. Is it too late to get on the dessert committee

Then you could do what my parents do, go to BJ's or Priceclub and buy a big sheet cake.

5. As the oprganizer, I am a "main dish" person

I relented and am making tri tip after all.. I have 4 of them on the grill as I type.. Now I have to peel potatoes..yuk :(..

It's odd. we always have plenty of salads, desserts and enough main sishes, but people seem to hate to make side dishes, hence the potatoes.:)
