1. My dear Lara........
Well, sweetie, considering what you've been through lately......

I say: Go for it!

I had some tonight myself, and I really enjoyed the little high......

It has been awhile!

:loveya:

3. It's okay to find comfort from the grape...
But be wary of becoming comfortable with the comfort the grape can bring...

9. I'm truly pretty careful with it. Don't you worry...
If I have even an inkling that I should slow down, I just take a complete break from it, for awhile, and I've never had any problem doing so. To be honest, I find drinking enjoyable, but it's one of the things I find least challenging to give up; I've never formed an addiction with it like I have to other things. I'm watching a friend lose her family over her alcoholism, and it's awful. Besides, my budget doesn't currently allow for the frivolous spending required of an alcohol habit; there's too many more important things. Last night was nice, though. I got to spend some time unloading on my friend, and she got to do alot of the same with me, over her current troubles. We laughed, we cried, we played Scrabble and she kicked my ass. I got to see her Mom (probably won't have that chance, much longer) and her Dad, and be reminded of how much the love of a good friend matters.

5. When times are good people drink, when times are bad people drink
I should have opened a bar.

Seriously...best of luck to you and the family
