Kids and fireworks are driving me batty!!!

The neighbor teens have been blowing shit up all day. It's mild here, so I have the windows open rather that the AC, so it has been ringing through the house all day.

Thankfully, it doesn't spook our dog too much, but she has been hiding on the other side of the house when she goes out.

They had stopped after about two hours and I thought it was over, but apparently they just went to stock back up because they are back at it again.

I think it's time to leave for awhile. :mad:

1. Ugh. I hate that, too.

It goes on all the rest of summer here, once it starts up around this time. Always late at night. Always when my kids are trying to sleep. It gets reeeally old.

2. GAAAAHHHH I am hearing some now.

On New Years morning this year, I was awakened at about 1 a.m. by fireworks going off damn near under my bedroom window. :evilfrown:

My mother's funeral had been New Year's Eve day, and I was exhausted. Totally wiped out. I think it was the next-door neighbor asshole (who is over 50 and old enough to know better, but an asshole) setting them off. As annoyed as I was by fireworks before that, I am even more pissed off at them now.

At least I no longer live next door to the asshole.
