...if I have to watch that one more time during the "news", I'm going to stab my own eyes out.

The only good part of that video was Rove wrapped up in the Christmas lights. . . . although they even got that wrong, because obviously they weren't wrapped tight enough -- you could see clearly he was still breathing.

:argh:

that poor thang - in every picture I see where Bush is holding him, Barney seems to be desperately beseeching onlookers for help.

on edit - I must add, working at McDonalds is an honest living; I don't think it is right to call their employees LOSERS.

2. Agreed
I forget the site I found the backdrop on, but apparently the sign fell victim to the wind, and I expect they didn't hire any "closers" (late shift) that week.

However, I still find it a funny twist of fate -- funnier still with * in the foreground looking perplexed.

3. Wasn't Barney the one Bush dropped on the tarmac?
You can tell Bush really doesn't like dogs.

4. In defense of George W. Bush
(this is the only time that subject line will be uttered by me, makes me woozy just typing it)

Actually, being a dog lover is GWB's only redeeming quality. Our local yokel news here in Detroit ran a story about a kid who wanted a dog but her dad, attempting to find an impossible condition to meet, said I will get you a dog only if the President tells me to. So, the family goes to DC soon after and during the WH tour, the kid slips a staffer a note detailing the situation. Six weeks later the kid gets a letter from the WH with a hand written note from GWB (both sides of a note card) talking about his dogs and tells her father to let her have a dog. The family goes to the humane society and gets a dog. This was on the local Fox station last night.
