Who likes storms???
A storm is coming which means I will probably lose my electric as for some reason I usually do.
I hate being alone during a storm.
Even my cat leaves me and runs under a bed. :hide:

I made sure my kids didn't tremble like their mother when we had one.

11. I hate storms! They scare me to death.
I try to find a place in the house where there are no electrical outlets, no radiators, and no windows (so I can't see the lightening). In my current house this means the pantry downstairs. I've slept on the floor down there on more than one occasion.

21. My husband just went to bed and I told him I was going to wait for the
tornado watch to be over... He just rolled his eyes, but I've got kids to care for and would hate to not hear the sirens. Call me paranoid, but one has touched down and that's what the warning system is for. :scared: Stay safe.

29. I don't blame you
I once experienced a bad tornado in 1987 and my
daughter was small then and of course I was alone. I've been affraid ever since. Three days
of no power was enough for me.

My wife and I love electrical storms...the noisier the better. I love watching them...just immense power and fury, something man cannot ever hope to tame. I hate dull boring old rain showers...rain is depressing if it's lacking the light show and soundtrack. Nothing like a good big clap o' thunder...BASS! I don't like seeing property destroyed or lives lost, as can occur as a result of a storm, but they're still awe-inspiring and thrilling to behold, even if one did pelt my poor Kia with big hailstones. :( It's all fixed now...

And there's nothing better to cuddle by than a nice noisy thunderstorm and a candle or two. :)

22. Get candles....
set them up in a ring, and meditate. Try the chant from the end of "Brainwashed"... Namah Parvati, Apaye Hara Hara...Shiva Shiva Shankara Mahadeva... etc.... Thanks, George Harrison!

Or go out and dance in the rain! That's what I would do, but if I didn't like storms....I'd meditate.
