Help! Do you have access to these periodicals online?!?

I need articles from Rolling Stone and the New York Times Magazine. Unfortunately, the local university (my alma mater) only has what I need on microfilm, and I'm not sure if alumni have access to such things. If anybody out there can help me out, please PM me. Thanks!

1. Have you checked your public library?

Where I live a library card gives you access to online databases that I know include New York Times archives, haven't checked to see if Rolling Stone is available

Their website is very vague about such things. I was hoping to only have to go to one library. Looks like that might not be the case. <sigh>

3. Your library may also have access to Lexis Nexis.

I work at a large university, and our library has access to the Lexis Nexis "Academic Universe" database, which stores complete news/journalism articles. Perhaps your library does too.
