This is me (the girl) at the boardwalk in Venice Beach, CA. Right after this was taken a 60-ish year old looking woman came over to the nice man in leather chaps near us to talk about buying his cowboy hat. God I love where I live!!!

47. That's funny. I guess it can't be hidden,

because the woman on the right who took the photo has had pics on some album covers as well as in books, including one that she published that still sells briskly. But she now has gone onto other photographic subjects.

But the guy on the left was in a band who was touring through town. He had been to the Pac NW a million times, but had never seen the Columbia Gorge, so we forced it on him. His bandmates were pissed that we got him back to town late. Fuck 'em.

This is me as a high school drop out (I later got a GED) and an avid rock and roll fan in the late 1980s with three Norwegian women I met.


This is me in 2004 after leaving Phoenix for a cross-country trip back to Miami to volunteer for John Kerry and MoveOn. A lot of good that did. I drove my car up to the edge of the Grand Canyon and set up my camera on a tripod. I ended up with two flat tires.



This is me in May 2006 in Havana with a Cuban woman I met. Yes, I'm still a sucker for foreign women.
