Kudzu? Am I even allowed to bring it up? I don't remember exactly what happened, and I have a posting I want to make, but it involves Kudzu (sp? how do you spell it anyway?) and I don't want to start something i am not supposed to, but I do want to post.

We'll never get rid of Kudzu :shrug: it's been around since before I was a kid and that's a long long time.

However if you are talking about Khudzu instead of Kudzu it might take some splainin' for the uninformed.

Democratic Khudzu: What I have done to help today

This thread is only for posting specific actions taken: Donating to a candidate, reaching out to a voter in some way, registering a new voter, posting a yard sign, calling your precinct committeeman to introduce yourself, volunteering as a poll worker, writing a letter to the editor, writing a letter to a congressman, whatever. But in order to post, you are pledging that you will DO something EVERY day from now until election day. And it would be nice if you could post what you did EVERY day.

I will start, but I actually have been doing this for a few days already so I will catch up:

Sunday: Bought a democracy bond from DNC.
Monday: Reached out to a co-worker with similar political beliefs and invited her to join me in getting a few like-minded people together for a political discussion. Hope to reach out, register, and motivate our friends and neighbors. Will let you know how it goes.
Tuesday: Joined DFA website, and RSVP'd for event I am going to here in just a couple of hours from now.
Today (Wednesday): Responded to email from John Kerry asking for donations for some key races by clicking the link and donating. Also donated to some candidates listed on DFA's website. (All donations were small, only $5 each, it was all I could really afford, but every little bit helps, imagine the "khudzu" effect). Also going to a DFA meetup in a couple of hours for the first time.
