For those of you who have a local Trader Joe's...
...I highly recommend the frozen bagged entrees of Mandarin chunk chicken-- it tastes just as good as the chinese take out equivalent, but is 1)tastier 2)cheaper 3)healthier. More chicken, less breading, mmmmm :9

A *huge* bag, good for 3 meals, is only 4.99!

5. Their Burritos Aren't!
Try the "Very Expensive Handmade Chicken Burritos" or the "99% Fat-Free Chicken and Rice Burrito." My Loved One practically lives on those (and the "Verde Chile" ones).

11. Eh, I eat what I want and it checks out okay.
Although, I do eat very few animal products, so cholesterol is pretty much a non-issue.

8. Their pot pies are terrible, but their quiches are good and best of all...
their "Chicken Shu Mai" (not sure of the spelling) that come frozen in a box are really good.

12. Cheaper?? You have never been to San Francisco have you?
Edited on Wed Jun-07-06 02:32 AM by scoey1953
We have a Trader Joes, however just four blocks away from me are a ton of
Chinese restaurants, which are SO cheap...well lets say a twenty dollar bill
will fill your fridge and freezer up for nearly a month ...and
its so yummy good. PLUS a bag of Fortune cookies...

But, I prefer Japanese and Korean. What can I say? I am so picky!! Hai! Oishii desu!
