6. The next shot of it should come out better.

I didn't even dust. I was doing test shots just so I would have something to transfer from the digital camera into my computer through editing with Kodak and into my photobucket.

12. I'm happy that I can connect all the dots correctly.

I'm going to take tons and tons of pictures. Damn! Unlimited free developing! I have to shoot a whole lot of snapshots to to make this toy more reasonable than my old camera. Yeah right. I'll hit a break-even spot eventually.

7. I really like Nybor's work.

I picked up several of his pieces that weekend.

He has been a political activist with an office in Washington for many years. I was very lucky to sit and chat with him for a while.

9. I'll shoot my entire Nybor collection after I return from Florida.

I really need a bit of setup time which I didn't do at all today.
I just found out that I may be away from DU while I'm in Islamorada. Next week I'll be in the Keys with Phil again.
The place is very rustic there may not be a phone in the room. Without my aircard connected to my laptop I'll be relying on dial-up or a wireless link if there is one available.

13. It's in my bedroom.

I can't wait to show you all of the beautiful things I've collected over the years.
I have an amazing group of calcite clusters, watermelon tourmaline, smokey elestial quarts and a new chrysanthemum stone carving. I have one statue I've been lugging around with me since 1972.

16. I'm almost ashamed to admit this but the picture hasn't been framed yet.

It's still sitting with the original protective plastic wrap covered in dust. This camera is awesome!

It really is amazing with the right light. Thanks Buffy.

23. I'm really looking forward to displaying them.
I have a better than museum quality collection. I didn't understand just how special they were until I visited the Museum of Natural History in NYC & the gem and mineral display in Albany ~ My rocks rock!
This is a huge piece of Rose Quarts with a Black Tourmaline inclusion.

28. Thanks, NewWaveChick!

I think my biggest talent is the ability to see things others may miss. There is beauty all around in nature and I'd like to share what I see. :) Little things like the morning dew on a spider's web.
