Old lady fined for walking too slow.

I heard this on the news earlier. I was busy and not paying close attention, but there was an 83-year old lady who got a ticket because she was walking too slowly when she crossed the street. Not sure where this happened. Anyone else hear?

2. OMFG! In Los Angeles.

where I thought pedestrians always have the right of way. Maybe the light should stay green longer. I hate to rant, but she is about the same age as my mother, who also walks with a cane. I say insist that old people be included in the Americans with Disabilities Act!

3. I heard it today as well....

I believe the lady stated that she started to cross the street when both the light turned green, and the walk sign said walk.....

Apparently the cop disagreed.....

Her word against his, as usual.....

She's getting a lot of support! Legal and otherwise....
