14. try this link for Screen Savers
I manage to catch them on TV once in awhile, but go to the web site whenever I have a question or need some info.
http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/index.html/

Since I am tech-challanged, they are a marvel to me. To the more computer savy, they are probably even more help. They have message boards too. Havocdad likes their 'download of the day' info and finds handy things that way.

Check it out.

2. About the stereo...
It could be very easy depending on your soundcard, but may require a trip to Radio Shack for the proper cables with the proper connectors.

If you find your stereo line outs or headphone outs on your card, just plug that into the "ins" of your stereo.

7. That's the one then.
Ya just need a cable with the proper connectors on each end. A stereo mini on one end, and then probable two phonos(depending) on the other.

11. Two ways to do it...
Hooking up the patch cables is the least expensive way to do it. However, if that's not practical for one reason or another, they do make wireless systems which will send the signal from your PC to a reciever which is hooked up to your stereo.

Some of those systems are shown here : http://www.digac.com/i2e_2.htm

13. run msconfig and remove the unessential programs
that clog the startup.

try ad-aware utilities. You can get a very good one @ www.lavasoft.com.
