URGENT: Should I tip on top of these room service charges?
So my wife and I are ordering in to our room tonight, as she doesn't feel well, and it's been a long day. In addition to the usual inflated room service prices, the following charges apply:

$2 delivery charge
21% service charge
6.5% sales tax

So, should I tip the delivery person on top of all that?

1. No!
It's one of my pet peeves. You are already paying a tip in the bill. You don't need to tip more.

6. Not unless there is a damn good reason--
At least SOME of that service charge money is going to the person who brings the food to your room.

If that person as an individual inspires you to give an additional tip, then go for it, but do NOT feel obligated.

My husband and I paid $150 one night on our honeymoon for a cheeseburger, a quesadilla appetizer, and a $24 bottle of wine. Translation: they're already robbing you.
