Although I have found that to be true in other places as well.

They do, however, do not believe in putting beans in chili. Now I think chili with only meat is just a topping for hot dogs but then I am a yankee.

11. Yankees don't understand chili.
Properly made, chili with only meat is much too thick to top a hot dog. However, Yankees do know more about hot dogs than I!
