4. pants inhibit movement!
why would fish want to wear pants when they have all that other cool stuff going on? In the early 80s everyone was trying to emulate the fish by wearing sequins, and shiny spandex! Besides, when you inhibit your ability to move, you sacrifice your autonomy, and everything starts to either tickle or itch.
