Either way, this cartoon was great until that red-haired freckled beastie slimed her way onto the cells. "Ooooh, this show's too, how shall we say, obtuse for kids? Let's dumb it down a few dozen IQ points and add a cutesy unnecessary retard who talks like a baby! That's a great idea!!"

"It's what the network wants / why bother to complain?" indeed.

21. A bit of a P&tB etymologist, here.

Pinky (the genius, the Brain is insane, imho) has 3 unique words:

narf, poit, and ort.

poit is like a period. it follows a statement of truth, one that needs underlining, in a sense. one with which Pinky agrees.

narf is an expression of wonder or excitement.

ort is a statement of fact, a confirmation of understanding. Pinky says it when he's certain his understanding of a state of being or thing is clear and confirmed in his own thought system.
