Good Monday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Welcome to the Early Morning Crew today! I hope you had a fun weekend! I worked both Saturday and Sunday, so that was MY weekend...that's why I hope you had fun enough for me too! And so another work week begins. I do, however, have this upcoming weekend off, so I CAN plan for some fun. Maybe we'll go to Orlando...

I've been listening to the Brokeback Mountain Soundtrack a lot since I purchased it. It's absolutely amazing music. I was reading last night on IMDB, posts about peoples favorite scenes in the movie, and that made me "re-live" the movie over again, and this time seeing things I didn't see the first time. Now, I have to go see it again so I can experience it all over again! I hope you've seen it!

16. Yes, I know
I looking forward to watch the Olympic Games. And they are in Europe this time, that means I don't have to stay up late or get up way early to watch them. Only problem I can't watch it during the week.

My favorite winter sport is Biathlon. It is just fascinating. And figure scating :)

The only event we two don't agree on is figure skating. I've never liked that particular event myself. I do love the rest though!

Glad that life's good with you as well.

I'm drinking some green tea (had coffee earlier), but still have yet to start working properly (bad T.J.).

I've got to engage the brain now, I need to decide what music to listen to. I was going through a load of Lefebure-Wely, but he's just finished. Any ideas? (But it does have to be on my M.P.3 player....)

22. I've chosen some Bach.
I hope that you've heard of him - he being the greatest composer ever.

St. Matthew Passion - should keep me going for a couple of hours, and quite a gorgeous piece especially the very famous "Erbame dich mein Gott" which is almost the definition of sublime.

Unfortunately didn't get to see it - could manage to find a time with other folks...scheduling can be a nuisance some times. We're still trying to find a mutually good time - shouldn't take too long (touch wood).

36. I'll certainly let you know what I think.
But in advance, I'm not much of a cinema goer (or indeed film watcher at all) and so probably won't be able to come up with a long hearty review like you.

If you're at all interested, "Erbame dich mein Gott" is definitely worth a listen - definitely one of the pinnacles of human artistry.

10. Hello, BC!
:hi:
Sorry to hear that! I have an injury also, although not as bad as yours. I was helping a customer load a big heavy wine cabinet into his truck. He on one side, I on the other. He went too fast and I slipped. I tried to keep ahold of the cabinet as I was going down and catch myself with my forearm. He had the bed of his truck sprayed with one of those spray on bed liners, so as I went down, the skin on my left forearm was scraped off.

Psh..

My new office computers, drives, and software are coming in today from Dell and a rep is coming to install them. Lord knows I won't even attempt it for fear of having to spend hours on the phone with someone from India trying to solve my problem. Then while that is going on, I have a brainstorming session with a few people trying to find a name for my business. Then a meeting with my graphic artist to get some renderings for a wedding I'm doign later this Spring completed. Then hopefully the Dell dude will be finished for me to start transferring my data from my old computer to the new ones.

I also reorganized my office over the weekend, and now I tragically can't find anything. lol

So what about your day?

Sounds like a full day to me! It's kind of exciting that you have new computers arriving today, though! I love that sort of thing! How is it that YOU re-organized your office and can't find anything? I could understand if your secretary did it for you...unless your memory is just going by the way side, Dude!

I just have to work all day. I work the middle shift today so I have to be there at 11. Every day is different in retail, so I have no idea what's in store for me ANY day.

After that, a run to the store and more places to look at to rent. My lease is up here on March 31st and it won't be a moment too soon! My neighbors were busy again this weekend. Banging around at 3am and the 75lb dog barking... I think I got 3 hours sleep Saturday night. I'm too old for this!

I want to see TJ as a gladiator.

Or a galley slave.

74. If I but had the pictures
They'd be winging their merry to you right now.

That said, there are other types of slave I'd rather be than a galley one

50. Morning Clint!
I had a great weekend. The Iron Chef Soirée was a great success. There must have been at least 50 people there. The secret ingredient ended up to be soy sauce. We did manage to make a great desert though. We poached pears and made a honey/soy sauce glaze. And to top it off we put edible gold on a very nice piece of dark chocolate. Exceedingly yummy.

Wishing all a great day!

57. They decided
not to do any judging, because of our team coming in at the last minute. But . . . IMHO, I think that we would have won.
