I know I'm not the only one who has had weird political dreams/nightmares. So let's hear 'em. I've got a few:
1. (This one has re-occured about four times) I am sitting on a stool in an empty room. All the sudden, the door opens and Rush Limbaugh comes in, and walks over to the stool. He begins to sit down and I start screaming "No Rush! Please don't sit on me!" And Rush sits down, everything goes black, and I wake up, screaming. This has happened to me once on the bus back from a 15k in San Pedro, and scared the you-know-what out of most everyone on the bus.
2. (Before the California Recall Election) I am sitting at home watching TV, looking for some kind of live coverage of the election. I settle on Fox News (no idea why) and I see that Arianna Huffington is leading, Schwarzenegger losing (before I knew she had dropped out). Happy, I ride my bike down to an auditorium where they are counting up the votes, and they have a live feed to again, Fox News. All the sudden, the numbers for Arianna and now Cruz Bustamante start slipping, and Arnold starts going ahead. The polls close, and he's the winner (at the time I would have never though of such a thing).
3. My parents have Arianna Huffington and Al Franken over for dinner one night, and I am unaware of it. I wake up at 5 PM, and I see through my window that they are leaving. I quickly grab a copy of Pigs at the Trough and Oh, the Things I Know! along with a Sharpie for them to sign them. I get to the front door and Al Franken has already left but not Arianna. I have her sign it and then give her a hug.
