What gives you the heebie jeebies?
For me - spiders. Actually all arachnids. Spiders, Tarantulas, Scorpions. Hate em all. Next to that it's wasps and hornets. Bees not so much so, but definitely anything without emotion that can cause pain.

God I HATE THEM. DIE HORNETS AND SPIDERS DIEEEEEE!!!

2. Hate Hate HATE spiders.
Freak me out. Depending on the size of the spider's abdomen, I may scream like a little girl. I am usually paralyzed with fear.

3. Spiders and those little gray aliens with the big black eyes...
that supposedly visit the planet and kidnap people. I don't believe any of that crap, but the movie "Communion" still gave me the willies.

30. The book "Communion" gave me the willies
had to keep putting it down. I hadn't been into alien theories, and didn't even really have much, if any, info regrading encounters and such at the time...back in the early 80s.

What I was reading was hitting too close to home with the "visits" my then 4-year old son was telling me about many mornings after I would get him up for the day...blonde haired women and their little gray boys with mouths like straight lines and no real noses coming into his room on a blue light and floating above him...he thought it was the tooth fairy and her son... my weird dreams at the time of creatures with big eyes and lots of blue light and space ships coming out of the hills in the high rural desert area we lived in at the time...my son telling me he was tired because he had been kept up again all night by some guy in a robe :like an Indian. Not the kind that has feathers, Mommy. The kind that lives across the ocean.", and how he was shown terrible things about the world and war far off in the future and how he was supposed to know and do something about it.

It was a freaky book for me to read. Read it simply because it was a best-seller at the time. Years later when I came across a drawing of one of the grays by someone who claimed visitation, my son peeked over my shoulder to see what I was reading and said, "Wow! That is almost exactly what the blonde lady's little boy looked like that used to come visit me!"

:scared: Weird shit...

7. Any kind of flying insect that stings.
The crawling ones don't freak me out really, spiders, scorpions and such, but if you want to see a grown man flip out just put me in the same room as a wasp :P (or a WASP for that matter )

18. Snakes??? What are you doing in Texas then???
Isn't Texas supposed to be snake central?

Water Moccasins, Rattlers and Sidewinders abound all over the place!

At least in CA all we have to worry about is the rattlers!

Donuts to dollars CA has had more Rose Bowl wins than Texas teams have ;)

And as for horseys - we do have those here.

Cali doesn't look like one big Houston without frontage roads ya know!!!

16. i hate anything having to do with damaged teeth
i can't watch anything about dentistry, "dog day afternoon" and "american history x" are out of the question. ren&stimpy fans will remember the "stinky holes" episode, featuring the root canal fairy-i can't even watch that. i can't listen to discussions about people's rotten teeth, or what their dentist did. i don't even want to discuss it with my dentist, i trust him to be reasonable.

i had a dream last week that i was visiting family and chipped a tooth, when i went to look at it all my rear teeth fell out into my hand with bridgework and other metal (i have none of that in real life). i woke up and felt like i had shattered enamel in my mouth. i briefly panicked before i realized it was just a dream. i was sure half my teeth had crumbled. even after i was awake for 30 minutes i felt like my gums were tingling and i could "feel" the crushed up enamel in my mouth.

see, i'm getting creeped out now and i feel all my teeth.

25. Ohhhhh....spiders.....
I fell most of the way down our basement stairs when I was 37 weeks pregnant, and I was laying on the floor, afraid to move for awhile, until a HUGE spider crawled out from under the bottom stair. Then I was up DAMN fast, for a way-pregnant gal with a likely-broken tailbone.:scared:

When I was a kid, one evening while checking the mail I walked face-first into a big web with 3 giant garden spiders in it. Ugh! I literally want to throw up when i see them now.
