and accepts the perimeters as being established, then one does not see it as provocation, but as an invitation.

I don't believe the provocateurs, as you portray them, really want to play the game they have outlined. You see, if no names are mentioned, if we play within the rules, we too can post like threads and even publish the facts as we know them. We can answer the mysteries of the lounge and clear the air once and for all. We don't have to use the pmail tactics and/or instant messaging. We can follow the example they have set and simply post "harmless, mocking" threads.

As you can see from their fairy tales, the truth is subject to various interpretations, if it is told at all. I propose to tale all truths, I have road maps (the lounge history) and I have communications sent to me from some involved that contain admissions.

It is really rather simple, I can stay within the letter of the rules and true to their intent and better the provocateurs at their own game I don't think that all provocateurs, whether it be the booster club or the fans in the stands, really want to see me accept the invitation.

They need to think long and hard about their tactics and try to decide if they are up to others using their tactics.
