I can't decide... is this glass half full, or half empty?

3. I would say

Since the cup gets smaller toward the base, and the water is at the halfway point in the glass, then it is half empty of water.

Now if we are talking about the space inside the glass being taken up, then if you account for the water and the air, then the glass is full.

If you are asking if the glass is half empty or half full with air, then going with my first answer, the glass is half full of air.
