My children brought tears to my wife's eyes on Christmas Eve.

My wife went to church with her mother and grandmother. Our two children, Leah and Daniel, went with them. Our son Daniel is very loving and loves to give hugs and usually Leah will refuse them. So at church, Daniel wanted to give Leah a hug and this time she gave him a big hug, also. As she was hugging him, she sang "You Are My Sunshine" to him.

On another note, my niece fell asleep in the car on the way to church. She woke up in church and said, "Mommy, are we at church?" Her mother replied that they were. My niece sits up, looks around and says, "Mommy, I want to go to a different church!"

You gotta love 'em!

We had a really great Christmas. The kids were so excited about everything -- they are so fun to watch. Of course, Grandma and Grandpa went way overboard on the gift giving...but what can you do?? That is their right as grandparents!
