I've Been Accepted into the Master Gardener Program - Ask Me Anything!
I'm so excited!! I applied for the program and was chosen. They had 44 applicants and took 25. I will begin training in January thru the Missouri Botanical Gardens and University of Missouri St. Louis and will be certified Master Gardener at the end of the program in May.
I am in total awe! My success with plant life has been chancy, the poor things have to reach out a tendril and trip somebody with a glass of water to get any! Good luck with the program!
I just finished the Iowa Master Gardener Program in October. Can hardly wait until spring when I can do some serious gardening, plus get all of my volunteer hours in. At least I have the gardening catalogs to look forward to in a couple of months, plus I keep buying new gardening books to read.:hi:
3. I do a lot of perennial gardening and shade gardening
We have 2 acres with a lot of large trees so I have learned to work with everything for shade imaginable. I also have a cottage border garden around my front yard with a picket fence surrounding it. We also have some water gardens - a water fall and goldfish pond, etc.
