I think he is funny in a lot of his roles, but something about him just makes me think in real life he is a cocky asshole. Keep in mind, these are just initial thoughts that could well be wrong. However, he sort of sets of the jerk sensor in me, almost like W when he was Governor of Tx.

Anyone else think the same?

3. Yeah, Ben Stiller, too.
For some reason, I thought Dodgeball was sort of funny.

5. I think he absolutely sucks in everything he does
He's like Al Pacino, but with no talent at all. You'd think he'd read his lines 5 minutes before shooting, and wants to do nothing but go home with a paycheck.

7. Now, I like Al Pacino.
I see what you say about lack of talent, though. I don't quite see Vince in a serious role. The closest was his role in Clay Pigeons, where he was a real dickweed.

It seems in all his roles, that dickweed persona lurks underneath. I have to admit, some of his stuff is somewhat funny, though.

6. I have an unholy love for Vince Vaughn, and yes, he seems like a jerk
I know, I know, he's a republican and he does seem like a total prick. However, for the most part I don't care about the political persuasions of actors--espcially when they star in such gems as Dodgeball. And, for me it's his jerkiness that I enjoy. It just seems to work in his roles.
I can't explain it, but I love him in every one of his movies that I've seen. He cracks me up.

There's just something about that baggy-eyed pudgy bastard that I find attractive. (I justify all of this because I'll never have to interact with him, therefore, I don't care. I can just enjoy his Vince-ness and leave it at that.)

9. My favorite Vince Vaughn movie scene:
jerking off as Norman Bates in that dreadful, nay, criminal "remake".

That scene defined him for me.
