2. Only a sweater if you're taking them on a walk on cold days like this.
Otherwise, it's extremely silly. They're not meant to be dressed up.

3. Moe doesn't need no stinking clothes!

Of course it might make people more comfortable if he wore some boxers.

5. What a cutie!
And he doesn't need boxers as long as he's trained to keep it to himself.

4. What if you're a person dressed like a pet?
Should you wear clothes then?

And what about cartoon animals? I find it very disturbing that Donald Duck wears a shirt and a hat, but no pants.

7. If you're a person dressed as a pet
you may be a furry, not that there is anything wrong with that. I would not want to insult the trans-specied among us.

Cartoon characters are exempt from all rules. Do I detect some jealousy of Donald's big tail?

6. I think some pets enjoy it
I've never gotten into dressing my pets but when my boxer Dixie developed severe arthritis in her back, I bought her a hooded sweatshirt to help keep the cold out of those joints. She absolutely loved it, wiggled around like a puppy when I pulled it out and strutted about when it was on (of course, Dixie also liked to get her nails painted - one day when i was doing my daughter's, Dix nosed in and just to be silly, I held her paw and did her front toenails. She wouldn't leave me alone after that - she'd come drape herself across me and present a paw, for all the world like a rich woman in a salon).

So anyway, I don't see any harm if the pet doesn't mind it.

9. and some pets need it..
When i had Greyhounds (x-racers) they don't have enough fur to handle COLD weather for more then a potty break (and even then when i lived in Wyoming they might need a coat).

11. If I tried dressing my cats...
I could see it leading to much Neosporin, cursing, and the cats remaining unclothed.

13. Luna says, leave my wardrobe alone

She comes in shivering from the cold when it gets below 60. IGs don't have much fur.
